Emeka White
Emeka’s background has always been music, art, fashion, photography, modelling and all the skills that he has obtained over the years. He originally started from reselling expensive alcoholic beverages inspired by Blade Brown business venture "MR DRINKS" Emeka moved on and created his own fashion brand called “THE WHITE LINE” now known as "EMEKA WHITE" he was contacted by nike and Virgil abloh to help with the Nike airmax day campaigns. The opportunity led Emeka into music, marketing, collaborations, art directing and styling as it allowed him to push his own boundaries and create his own rules. His work is inspired by growing up in British Afro-Caribbean culture and individuality. Emeka advocates for change in the industry, his community and across all mediums and also wants to build an inclusive space where everyone belongs.
Emeka won a lifetime achievement award at House of Parliament for changing his life around from being a former gang member to a business-man he appeared on fashion talk panels at universities across the UK, he also styled stefflondon, mentored by Virgil abloh, helped young people get of the streets for them to become creative entrepreneurs and he teamed up with Lambeth council to direct a knife crime advert.
“A lot of the work that I’m producing has been inspired by black people MY PEOPLE and the struggles we face, i saw the lack of empathy the goverment had for my community but also saw local organisations being the support system my community needed i’ve always challenged the system through my creativity"

Being mentored by Virgil abloh allowed Emeka to nurture his craft. he mastered his skills to become a creative entrepreneur and have his hands in all pies
NEW FLOWER DAWN
was founded in the 1980’s by Emeka’s grandad , the company was located a few doors down from the Rasta temple in Kennington, South London where bob marley use to hang out. the aim for Emeka is placing representation at the forefront and demanding for all cultures to sit at the table at corporations. Emeka focuses on forging new pathways, opening doors of young youths, representation and empowering his community.
